“The spirit of the depths even taught me to consider my action and my decision as dependent on dreams.” – C.G. Jung, The Red Book: Liber Novus

Who we are

The Guild of Analytical Psychologists (G.A.P.) is a psychotherapy training organisation offering courses in Analytical Psychology.

GAP also provides access to psychotherapy, in-depth analysis and short-term therapy through our membership.

GAP is a member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the IAAP.

Our members

Members of GAP are Jungian Psychotherapists and Analytical Psychologists.

They are either graduates of the GAP training programme or members of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP).

Find a therapist

Members of GAP are all fully qualified Jungian Analysts or Psychotherapists. We provide in-depth analysis, psychotherapy and short-term therapy.

Please visit our search pages to find a therapist.

Low cost therapy

For many years now GAP has provided a Low Cost Therapy Scheme to provide those on low incomes with access to psychotherapy and analysis.

The psychotherapy/analysis is usually conducted by a person in the advanced stage of their training with GAP, under close supervision of a senior analyst.

Training for therapists

Part of the life of the Guild is to offer courses in Analytical Psychology at different levels of engagement including full training to become an Analytical Psychologist with subsequent membership of the UKCP and IAAP. At the heart of our training is the connection between Analytical Psychotherapy and sprituality.
